Dear family members, I was very saddened to learn Gevorg’s passing away. I am a professor and director of a research group at the Institut de recherches cliniques de Montréal. In the last couple of years, Gevorg helped us on numerous research projects and always did so with great competency, energy, and enthusiasm. My staff and trainees appreciated his outstanding knowledge, commitment, and professionalism. He will be missed tremendously at home by his loved ones. I was so deeply saddened to hear that Gevorg passed away. He was such a remarkable person and scholar. I have rarely worked with anyone who brought so much energy to what he did. He enthusiastically strove towards excellence and sought to improve and optimize every project he was involved in. I will truly miss his sincerity, work ethic, commitment, and the joy of working with him. My deepest sympathies go to his wife and children who have suffered such as terrible loss.
